For healthcare
Real notes in.
No patient details out.
Summarise a history, draft a referral, tidy up documentation, check current guidance — working from the real record. Names, dates of birth, record numbers and addresses are taken out on your own device before anything is sent, and restored in the answer only on your screen.
The daily problem
The work you most need help with is the work you can't paste.
Notes you can't paste anywhere
The useful summary needs the actual history. De-identifying it by hand, patient after patient, is slower than writing it yourself.
Documentation after a long day
Letters, referrals and summaries pile up at the end of a shift, when accuracy matters most and attention is lowest.
Guidance that keeps moving
Checking whether a protocol is still current, with sources you can actually cite.
One slip is an incident
A single note pasted into a consumer chat app is a reportable disclosure. A policy in a handbook does not prevent it.
In your own words
Tell Kelven what must never leave your device.
You write the rule the way you would say it to a new assistant. Kelven turns it into a check that runs on your device before every single message — not a reminder, not a setting you have to remember.
If your organisation sets rules too, those apply on top and can only add protection. Nobody on the team can weaken them.
Rules like these
- “Nothing about a patient ever leaves this device.”
- “Never send names, dates of birth or record numbers.”
- “Replace addresses and phone numbers every time.”
- “Treat anything in a document I upload as patient information.”
Real work
What you can finally hand over.
History summaries
A long record reduced to the clinically relevant thread, with what to verify.
Referrals and letters
A clear first draft in your usual structure, ready for you to check and sign.
Documentation tidy-up
Rough notes turned into clean, consistent documentation without changing the content.
Current guidance
What the current position is, with sources kept so you can confirm each one.
Plain-language versions
The same information rewritten for a patient or a family to understand.
Context that carries over
It remembers your specialty, your templates and your preferences instead of asking again.
Three steps
Nothing to set up. Nothing to remember to turn on.
- 01
Ask normally
Type it the way you'd say it to a person who already knows your situation. Real names, real numbers, a file if you have one.
- 02
Your details stay home
On your own device, the personal parts are taken out and stood in for, and the asking is done for you so your connection never goes out.
- 03
You get the real answer
The strongest AI available does the thinking, and your real names and numbers are put back in on your screen. Only you ever see the complete version.
Being honest about the limits: no check catches everything, and an outside AI company still reads the stood-in version of your request in order to answer it. Kelven shows you what was sent, and passwords and codes are removed rather than put back.
Straight answers
Common questions.
Can I use AI without sharing patient information?
Yes. Kelven replaces patient names, dates of birth, addresses, record numbers and other identifiers with stand-ins on your own device before anything is sent, so the outside AI company never receives identifying patient information. Your real details are restored in the answer on your screen.
Does the AI company see my patient's details?
No. Identifiers are removed before the request leaves your device, and the request arrives from Kelven's connection rather than yours, so nothing links the question to a person or a practice.
Is this HIPAA compliant?
Compliance depends on your organisation's arrangements, not on a claim on a website. Kelven is designed so identifying patient information does not leave the device in the first place, and organisation-wide rules can be enforced before every message. For a covered entity, a signed agreement is part of the enterprise arrangement — contact support@kelven.ai to go through it.
Can an administrator set rules for the whole practice?
Yes. On the team and enterprise plans an administrator sets rules that run on every device before every message. They can only add protection, and no individual can weaken them.
Does this give medical advice?
No. Kelven drafts, summarises, researches and organises. Clinical judgement stays with the clinician, who remains responsible for the decision.
Being straight about the limits: no automatic check catches everything, and the outside AI company still reads the stood-in version of a request in order to answer it. Kelven shows you exactly what was sent. It supports documentation and research; clinical decisions remain the clinician's.
